2 cups whole wheat or all purpose flour. 1 cup cornmeal. 1/4 cup wheat germ. 2 teaspoon beef bouillon powder. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.

Direction:
Mix above ingredients in a medium bowl. Add 1 large egg, 1 tablespoon cooking oil and 1 cup hot water. Stir well. Roll out on a well-floured surface to 1/2 inch thickness. Place on ungreased cooking sheet. Bake on center rack for about 2 hours until dry and very hard. Let stand overnight to dry thoroughly. Makes 10 big bones and 14 puppy bones.


2. Beef Cheese Dog Biscuit Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups Whole wheat Flour. 2/3 cup beef broth. 6 tablespoon vegetable oil. 3 tablespoon grated parmesan. 1/2 cup cornmeal.

Direction:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together and roll out. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters or just squares for a simple biscuit. Bake 35-40 minutes.


3. Apple Festival Dog Biscuit Recipe

Ingredients:
3/4 cup hot water or beef broth. 1/3 cup margarine or oil. 1/2 cup powdered milk. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 egg beaten. 3 cup whole wheat flour.

Direction:
In large bowl, pour hot water over margarine. Stir in powdered milk, salt and egg. Add flour 1/2 cup at a time, mixing well knead 3 to 4 minutes, adding more flour if needed to stiffen dough pat or roll to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into shapes with cookie cutters place on greased baking sheet and bake @ 325 for 50 minutes. Allow to cool and dry out until hard makes approximately 1 1/4 pounds store in airtight container.
